What is Derby Dance Week?
Derby Dance Week is a showcase of Louisville’s vibrant dance scene in celebration of National Dance Week! Stories are often supported by movement, but Derby Dance Week is rewriting the script, putting the movement center-stage, and championing Kentuckiana Art in Movement!
This exciting calendar of events offers an impressive mix of dance genres, including Tap, Dance Fitness, Hawaiian Hula, Contemporary, Latin, and Line Dance among others. Our local dance experts are ready to help you learn about different dance organizations in Louisville, burn a few calories learning new dance moves, and interact with your fellow art enthusiasts at the same time! Are you ready?
And if it couldn’t get any better, we will end this experience with a dance showcase for all of our participants and performers to come together in one space, show us what they’ve learned, and show off their dance chops! Seriously… are you ready?

Nope! We are wearing our DDW Tees and comfortable and movable apparel!
Do I have to attend every class?
You can come and go as you please! With classes everyday, it's not something we expect, but we do recommend getting in as much as you can! It's worth it!
Are all of these classes only $10?
Yes, chile! TCCN's mission is to bring infrastructure to art and art to community. We want it to be accessible!
